Lower Chittering Hall Replacement Project – SDR Public Comments
Lower Chittering Community Centre – Schematic Design Report – Open for Public Comment.
At the Ordinary meeting of Council on 21 July 2021, Council endorsed the creation of a Reference Group to provide feedback and input in to a plan for the replacement of the Lower Chittering Hall. The group members include current users of the existing facility, local community members, and council representatives.
The Lower Chittering Hall Replacement (LCHR) Reference Group met six times in 2021/2022 and together with Site Architectural Studio have created a Schematic Design Report (SDR) for a Community Centre to be located at the reserve behind the Lower Chittering Fire Station.
The SDR and associated plans were received by Council at the July Ordinary Meeting of Council held on Wednesday 20 July 2022.
The community are now invited to comment on the SDR, including the Community Centre Design and Master Plan, which was created as part of the consultation with the LCHR Reference Group.
